Technical Tenders Engineer – Mechanical & Industrial Equipment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the preparation and submission of technical and financial tender offers for industrial equipment. The role requires strong hands‑on knowledge of mechanical systems, the ability to interpret specifications and drawings, and confident communication with manufacturers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of complete, accurate and competitive tender offers.
• Analyse tender specifications, validate technical compliance and select the most suitable brands and products.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, delivery times and commercial terms.
• Manage project execution from ordering and shipment follow‑up to delivery planning, installation and invoicing.
• Maintain strong relationships with local and international manufacturers.
• Develop and monitor tender execution plans to meet all deadlines.
• Collaborate internally with Sales, Technical, Procurement, Logistics, Finance and Management.
• Respond to tender clarifications, client inquiries and attend pre‑bid meetings or site visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of practical experience with industrial equipment such as automotive workshop tools, CNC machines, packaging machinery, industrial refrigeration, maintenance tools or measurement/testing devices.
• Proven ability to understand client applications and recommend technically suitable solutions.
• Strong analytical, research and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Fluent English (French a plus) and high ethical standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and manage multiple projects under pressure.

• AutoCAD – preparing and reading technical drawings.
• Technical specification analysis and equipment selection.
• Tender preparation and financial offer compilation.
• Supplier negotiation and procurement coordination.
• Knowledge of automotive workshop equipment, CNC machines, packaging and filling machinery, industrial refrigeration, maintenance tools, and measurement/inspection equipment.
