Team Lead - Social Media

About the role

The Team Lead – Social Media will oversee client relationships, guide the account management team, and ensure strategic alignment across all social media activities. This senior position demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational excellence to deliver high‑quality, creative, and efficient outcomes for NEON Consultancy’s clients.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison for assigned clients, presenting tailored social media strategies and managing feedback and approvals.
• Supervise and mentor the account management team, allocate workloads, and provide guidance on Arabic copywriting when required.
• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of social media campaigns, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with the Paid Media Strategist to set up, optimize, and report on paid campaigns.
• Track and update team KPIs, aligning individual performance with agency objectives.
• Develop end‑to‑end client strategies, including brand activations, platform plans, and paid media proposals.
• Provide hands‑on support during high‑priority moments and serve as an escalation point for internal and client issues.
• Lead onboarding and training for new hires, ensuring they understand processes and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing client relationships and leading social‑media teams.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable social media plans.
• Excellent project‑management skills, capable of handling multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Effective mentorship and coaching abilities to develop junior team members.
• Ability to step in and manage accounts directly during executive absences.
