Teaching Assistant

About the role

The International School of Choueifat in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teachers and students both inside and outside the classroom. The role focuses on helping students complete assignments, maintaining a safe and clean learning environment, and reinforcing school policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in monitoring class schedules and maintaining attendance records.
• Prepare and manage class displays, bulletin boards, and visual materials as directed.
• Reinforce classroom and school rules, and document student progress.
• File reading notes, check for new entries each morning, and communicate updates to the Academic Quality Controller.
• Support teachers during lessons to keep students focused and attentive.
• Help with correcting student work and preparing materials for art, snack, and lunch times.
• Supervise outdoor play, nap/quiet time, and morning care activities.
• Assist with school events, trips, and other related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
• Ability to deliver results, continuously improve, and take ownership of tasks.
