Student Life Coordinator

About the role

The Student Life Coordinator leads the SABIS® Student Life Organization (SLO) to inspire and engage students in activities that enhance school culture, academic standards, and personal development. Reporting to the School Director, the role ensures the SLO operates effectively and aligns with the school’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all SLO departments and coordinate their activities throughout the academic year.
• Recruit, build, and manage the SLO team, fostering collaboration with other school departments.
• Motivate students to join and actively participate in the SLO, promoting continuous improvement.
• Plan the academic year’s SLO initiatives based on school priorities.
• Promote SLO achievements, events, and activities across the school community.
• Train student prefects in academic, managerial, and leadership skills.
• Guide prefects to meet administrative and academic needs, providing necessary tools.
• Collaborate with Academic Quality Controllers and Heads of Departments to support academic standards.
• Manage advising curriculum and schedule advising classes with appropriate staff.
• Work closely with the Student Management Coordinator to uphold school discipline.
• Hold weekly meetings with the School Director and SLO leadership to review performance and set goals.
• Participate in and lead school events, trips, competitions, and games.
• Recommend actions to ensure SLO compliance with SABIS® principles.
• Perform additional tasks delegated by school management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (SABIS® network experience preferred).
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Problem‑solving mindset and continuous learning orientation.
