Strategy & Transactions Manager/Senior Manager – Financial Services

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join its Strategy & Transactions practice, focusing on the Financial Services sector. You will work with banking, insurance, and asset management clients to shape strategic objectives and drive transaction execution.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategic planning, value creation, operating model redesign, feasibility assessments, and financial reporting.
• Support Financial Services clients through strategic analysis, transaction execution, and preparation of deliverables such as data books, reports, and presentations.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional EY services based on client needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of business valuation experience, preferably in a professional services or Big 4 environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or business.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and deliver high‑quality work under changing deadlines.

Required skills

• Expertise in valuation methodologies, market sizing, feasibility studies, and financial modelling (building models from scratch).
• Strong knowledge of financial services balance‑sheet structures and IFRS standards related to fair value, business combinations, and impairment testing.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and model development.
