Senior Accountant – UK Branch

About the role

The Senior Accountant for the UK branch will manage the financial operations of the branch, ensuring accurate records, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Jbeil – Halat and works closely with both branch and head‑office teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with UK regulations.
• Manage general ledger activities, prepare financial statements and handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash‑flow management and monitor budgets.
• Analyze variances, support internal and external audits, and implement internal controls.
• Coordinate financial planning, cash‑flow forecasting and process improvements with branch and head‑office teams.
• Provide data‑driven insights to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management and preparation of financial statements.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support branch performance.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and cash‑flow management.
• Knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations and audit procedures.
• Advanced user of accounting software and ERP systems, solid MS Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; ACCA or CPA certification is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross‑border, cross‑functional teams.
• Prior experience in real estate or property management is preferred.
