Storekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Storekeeper to manage the hotel’s inventory stores in Beirut. The role ensures that all goods are received, stored, labeled and issued in accordance with Kempinski standards, supporting the smooth operation of the hotel’s purchasing and cost‑control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify all goods, label them with name and dates, and store them safely and sanitarily.
• Maintain proper par levels, issue goods against authorized requisitions, and record after‑hours issues.
• Keep storerooms locked, organized, clean and supervised at all times.
• Monitor stock movements, alert supervisors about dead or slow‑moving items, and conduct regular inventories.
• Enter issued goods into the system, ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Kempinski policies.
• Communicate discrepancies, support cost‑control initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• College or university education (or equivalent).
• Food & Beverage background with experience in hotel inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
• Professional conduct in line with Kempinski’s code of conduct.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to operate computer and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of materials handling, quality control and local regulations.
• Experience with inventory management software is a plus.
