Store Supervisor – Cashier Team Lead

About the role

The Store Supervisor (Cashier Supervisor) leads the front‑end cash team, ensuring efficient, accurate and friendly checkout service while upholding company policies and customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all front‑end cashiers.
• Ensure proper staffing levels based on store traffic.
• Train new cashiers on POS systems, procedures and service standards.
• Monitor performance, provide coaching and take disciplinary action when needed.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
• Conduct regular cash register audits and end‑of‑day reconciliations.
• Support opening and closing procedures for the front‑end area.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe checkout environment.
• Assist front‑end staff during peak periods.
• Generate daily cashier reports and report discrepancies to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree is a plus.
• 0–3 years retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Proven experience as a cashier or in a supervisory position within retail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve conflicts.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
