Specialist – Doctor of Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy)

About the role

Beirut Arab University seeks a qualified Specialist – Doctor of Physiotherapy to join its Physical Therapy Outpatient Clinic. The role combines direct patient care, supervision of students, and support for clinic and laboratory operations within an academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients, providing education on rehabilitation and injury prevention.
• Supervise and train physical therapy students during clinical rotations and hands‑on learning sessions.
• Maintain clinic and laboratory equipment, manage supplies, and ensure compliance with safety, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to research initiatives, interdisciplinary collaboration, and health‑wellness programs.

Required profile

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in physical therapy practice.
• Good command of English and basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Current knowledge of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Demonstrated clinical competence, ethical behavior, and effective teaching and evaluation skills.
