Software Systems Engineer

About the role

Join chloe 3 as a Software Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable software systems that support scalable product delivery. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ship features on schedule, improve performance, and ensure high code quality while supporting deployments and service monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production‑ready applications using Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Create and optimise SQL and NoSQL database schemas.
• Maintain code repositories with Git and enforce version‑control best practices.
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee software quality.
• Apply cloud and CI/CD concepts to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Monitor services, manage production incidents, and support deployments.
• Continuously improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of systems.

Required profile

• Strong programming background with experience in Java, Python, JavaScript or C#.
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Experience with Git for source control and collaborative development.
• Hands‑on experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
