Social Media Manager – Africa Digital Strategy (Abidjan)

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to define, lead and deploy the company’s digital strategy across Africa from our Abidjan office. The role combines strategic planning, creative content production and multi‑country coordination to ensure brand consistency and high‑performance results.

Key responsibilities

• Define and adapt a global digital strategy for all brands, creating annual action plans and managing multi‑country budgets.
• Oversee creation of original, modern content, set editorial guidelines and launch new formats such as video, user‑generated content, influencer campaigns and digital activations.
• Lead, coach and expand the digital team, set objectives, monitor KPIs and support skill development.
• Coordinate with local marketing managers, monitor country‑specific performance and produce comparative dashboards.
• Plan and optimise digital advertising campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok and other platforms, tracking awareness, engagement, traffic and conversion KPIs.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for senior management and propose optimisation plans.
• Continuously monitor social, digital and cosmetic trends, identify innovations and propose new growth levers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communication or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within an international company or agency.
• Experience in the cosmetics industry is a strong plus.
• Proven track record of managing and developing digital teams.
