SMS Account Manager

About the role

The SMS Account Manager is a full-time, on‑site role based in Beirut. This position manages day‑to‑day relationships with messaging clients, handling onboarding, inquiries and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day relationships with messaging clients, including onboarding new accounts.
• Handle client inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Monitor SMS traffic and performance, coordinating with technical teams on routing and delivery.
• Prepare regular reports on account usage and key performance indicators.
• Optimize client campaigns and identify upselling or cross‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of agreements and configurations.
• Collaborate with operations and finance to support billing accuracy and contract compliance.

Required profile

• Experience in account management or customer success within telecom, messaging, or cloud communications.
• Strong analytical skills for monitoring SMS traffic, performance metrics, and routing configurations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and understand basic concepts of A2P SMS, routing, and connectivity.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple accounts and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with common business and reporting tools such as Excel, CRM platforms, and ticketing systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an asset.
• Prior experience working on‑site in a client‑facing or operations role is preferred.
