Shop Manager

About the role

The Shop Manager leads the regional store to achieve strong sales performance while delivering a customer‑centric experience. Reporting to the Regional Store Manager, the role combines hands‑on floor presence, data‑driven analysis, and team development to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a visible floor presence, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify business development opportunities.
• Develop and execute yearly action plans, set and track KPI targets for sales, gross margin, and sell‑out.
• Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and POS transactions including returns, discounts, and refunds.
• Prepare monthly business reports, analyse sales data, and propose actions to meet budget and profit goals.
• Lead talent development: recruit, train, conduct performance reviews, and build succession plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, code of conduct, and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a retail store or shop environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales metrics and P&L statements.
• Excellent leadership skills to motivate and develop a sales team.
• Customer‑focused attitude and ability to handle complaints effectively.
• Organised approach to inventory, scheduling, and operational maintenance.
