Senior Software Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality software solutions that meet our customers' needs. The role involves translating business requirements into reliable applications while adhering to coding standards and development methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, validate, and translate business specifications into comprehensive software solutions.
• Develop applications using selected programming languages in line with SABIS® coding standards and release processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during development to ensure reliable delivery.
• Document code and development processes to facilitate future maintenance.
• Design and maintain database objects such as tables, stored procedures, and functions.
• Write and execute business scenarios, perform testing, and report defects.
• Review code produced by junior and intermediate developers.
• Identify risks during analysis and development and implement mitigation actions.
• Suggest improvements to existing software programs.
• Perform additional tasks as delegated by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Computing or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in English.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and strong accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results and continuously improve.
• Excellent technical problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Software development using multiple programming languages.
• Database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, functions).
