Senior SOC Analyst

About the role

The Senior SOC Analyst will monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats across the organization. You will stay up‑to‑date with the latest attack techniques and communicate findings to the security team.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and correlate security log data from heterogeneous systems and devices.
• Provide incident response support, investigate alerts, and document security incidents.
• Conduct threat and vulnerability analysis, advise on security controls, and recommend network security policies.
• Develop and improve incident response plans, SOPs, and automation workflows.
• Monitor network traffic for anomalies and escalate incidents per defined procedures.
• Deliver cybersecurity awareness sessions and training to employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in SOC, NOC or cybersecurity operations.
• Professional proficiency in English and local language.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and documentation skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, Elastic).
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR tools (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne).
• Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with SOAR/automation, vulnerability scanners, and penetration‑testing concepts.
• Cloud security fundamentals (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Scripting for log analysis and automation (Python, PowerShell).
• Understanding of TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, HTTP and related security protocols.
• Awareness of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).
