Senior Sales Executive

About the role

The Senior Sales Executive will lead the development and management of customer relationships for Sallaum Lines, a global Ro‑Ro carrier. You will deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and expand the client base while ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify target markets, acquire new clients and expand the company’s market presence.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing and potential customers to generate new freight transportation business.
• Prepare and deliver pricing for spot shipments and project cargoes, and negotiate contract terms.
• Represent the firm in meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and post‑shipment follow‑up.
• Report regularly to management and fulfill price quotation forms.

Required profile

• BS/MS degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field (MBA/MSc a plus).
• Minimum 4 years of sales experience, preferably in shipping or logistics.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret market trends and sales data.
• Proven negotiation and client‑presentation skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Experience with BRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
