Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

ET3Labs is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of its backend systems, APIs, web platforms, and mobile applications. You will lead test planning, build automated and manual testing frameworks, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans, cases, and scripts for backend services, APIs, web and mobile products.
• Design scalable test frameworks that support functional, regression, performance, load, usability, and user‑acceptance testing.
• Validate database queries, stored procedures, and data integrity; ensure backend services meet performance, reliability, and security standards.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira or TestRail, collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Provide actionable feedback to product, development, and DevOps teams, aligning on quality expectations and test strategies.
• Conduct pre‑release and post‑release evaluations, monitor staging and production environments, and support successful deployments.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Proven ability to design and maintain both automated and manual testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on improving QA processes and product quality.
• Experience mentoring junior QA team members and driving continuous improvement.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with developers, product managers, and DevOps.
