Senior Project Officer (NGO Experience Required)

About the role

A Senior Project Officer is sought to support the implementation of client programs in Lebanon. The role works closely with the Project Manager to coordinate activities, ensure smooth day-to-day operations and assist with stakeholder engagement. It suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is detail-oriented and passionate about education and community development. The position is hybrid, with one day per week in the office.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Project Management, Business Management or a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project implementation, preferably in the education or NGO sector.
• Experience in the NGO sector or similar environments (NGO experience is a must).
• Proficiency in English and Arabic, written and spoken.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; occasional travel to project sites required.

Required skills

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite.
• Preferred: experience on STEM or digital literacy projects, knowledge of Lebanon's education systems, familiarity with data collection tools and reporting, and use of AI tools such as Claude to automate workflows.
