Senior Project Officer

About the role

The Senior Project Officer will support the implementation of client programmes in Lebanon, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about education and community development.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and monitor progress against timelines.
• Assist the Project Manager in stakeholder engagement and reporting.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure data quality.
• Support field teams through occasional travel to project sites.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes using digital tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Project Management, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project implementation, preferably in the education or NGO sector.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
