Senior Procurement Engineer (Construction)

About the role

ICC Contractors is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer to join its Beirut office. The role oversees the full procurement cycle for construction materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost‑effective and timely delivery for ongoing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for project needs.
• Evaluate suppliers, analyse bids, and negotiate contracts and prices.
• Issue purchase orders and coordinate procurement documentation with internal teams and external vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance to align purchasing activities with project requirements and company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Several years of procurement experience in construction or engineering, preferably in Africa.
• Knowledge of construction materials, standards, contract terms, and basic project management principles.
• Strong analytical abilities for cost comparison and bid analysis.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP or procurement software.
• Advanced use of MS Office tools.
