Senior Procurement Engineer (Beirut)

About the role

The Senior Procurement Engineer will lead the end‑to‑end procurement process for construction materials, equipment and services on ICC Contractors' projects in Beirut. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures cost‑effective and timely availability of resources while supporting project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for required goods and services.
• Evaluate suppliers and bids, conduct cost comparisons and negotiate contracts and prices.
• Coordinate purchase orders with internal project teams and external vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management and finance to align purchasing activities with project requirements and company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Several years of procurement experience in construction or engineering environments, preferably with exposure to African markets.
• Knowledge of construction materials, standards, contract terms and basic project management principles.
• Proficiency with ERP or procurement software and strong MS Office skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to ethical procurement practices.
