Senior Officer, Digital Content Producer

About the role

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is seeking a Senior Officer to lead editorial management and digital content production for its global digital platforms, primarily the organization’s website. Reporting to the Lead, Digital Communications and Engagement, the role ensures that all digital content is timely, accurate, engaging, and aligned with IFRC’s editorial standards and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end editorial workflow for the IFRC global website and other digital channels.
• Produce, edit, and publish digital content that reflects IFRC’s humanitarian mission and priorities.
• Coordinate with headquarters, regional offices, delegations, and National Societies to gather and verify information.
• Maintain consistency with IFRC’s brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity.
• Monitor website performance, analytics, and user feedback to continuously improve content relevance and impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital content creation and editorial management within an international or humanitarian context.
• Strong understanding of web publishing processes and content management systems.
• Excellent written communication skills in English, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple time zones and cultural settings.
