Senior Odoo Functional Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Odoo Functional Consultant to lead the analysis and design of Odoo ERP solutions for our clients in Lebanon. The consultant will translate complex business requirements into scalable, upgrade‑safe functional designs while ensuring alignment with Odoo best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end business requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, workshops and process walkthroughs.
• Analyse client business models, workflows, reporting needs and decision‑making structures.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose simplified, scalable alternatives using Odoo’s native features.
• Translate business needs into clear, prioritized functional requirements and produce high‑quality Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
• Design functional solutions prioritising standard Odoo configuration, evaluating customization or integration trade‑offs.
• Define workflows, approval logic, user roles, access rights and data structures ensuring upgrade‑safety.
• Validate functional feasibility, maintain version control and obtain stakeholder sign‑off on all deliverables.
• Act as the primary functional point of contact, mediate between business users and technical teams, and support project managers with scope and effort estimations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a functional consultant on Odoo ERP implementations.
• Strong business analysis skills with the ability to lead workshops and elicit requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and propose best‑practice solutions.

• Creation of Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and functional flow diagrams.
• Workflow modelling, approval logic definition and user role management.
• Evaluation of configuration vs. customization vs. integration options.
