Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Arab Finance House, an Islamic bank, is looking for a qualified, detail‑oriented Senior Internal Auditor to strengthen its internal audit function across branches and head‑office departments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audit assignments at bank branches and head‑office departments according to the approved audit plan.
• Review the effectiveness of internal controls, operational procedures and compliance with bank policies.
• Assess compliance with banking regulations, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Examine financial and operational records to identify errors, irregularities, control weaknesses and potential risks.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risks and recommendations, and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of internal audit experience within the banking sector.
• Proven experience auditing both bank branches and head‑office departments.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk assessment and audit methodologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational and report‑writing abilities.
• High attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality and professional ethics.
