About the role
A fashion house is hiring a Senior Fashion Designer with 5 to 10 years of experience in couture bridal and evening wear to lead design development and turn creative vision into finished garments.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop bridal and evening wear collections from concept to final garment
- Create sketches, fabric selections and mood boards in line with brand direction
- Collaborate with pattern makers and tailors on draping, fitting and construction
- Supervise toiles, embroidery development and couture finishing techniques
- Research trends, fabrics and design innovations
- Ensure timelines and design accuracy are met throughout production
Required profile
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in couture bridal and/or evening wear design
- Strong design portfolio and understanding of garment construction
- Team leadership and communication skills
Required skills
- Excellent hand sketching and/or digital illustration skills
- Knowledge of fabric manipulation, embroidery and luxury detailing
