Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Electrical Engineer leads electrical design for medium to high‑complexity building projects, ensuring functional, effective, and aesthetic solutions that meet client needs, international standards, and multidisciplinary requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop electrical concept designs, drawings and reports for building projects.
• Refine design options into schematic and detailed designs, producing required documentation.
• Coordinate with architecture, structural, mechanical, and water & environment teams to align design requirements.
• Review design deliverables with senior project teams and implement revisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on value engineering and with project managers for client and authority approvals.
• Conduct detailed design reviews, checks and issue checking reports.
• Support project managers in progress reporting and quality control of design deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience in electrical design for building projects.
• Knowledge of international engineering standards and codes.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM and Revit software.
