Senior Cost & Gross Control Specialist

About the role

The Senior Cost & Gross Control Specialist monitors, analyses and validates cost structures and gross margins across the company’s products and services. The role ensures accurate cost allocation, supports management decision‑making and drives profitability optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and validate the cost of services and products across all business lines.
• Analyse gross margins and investigate variances against budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure proper cost allocation and classification in line with accounting policies.
• Reconcile cost and revenue data between operational and accounting systems.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant departments for corrections.
• Support monthly closing activities related to cost and gross margin reporting.
• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for management review.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives to enhance cost control and reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis or accounting.
• Strong understanding of cost structures, margins and financial reporting.
• Experience working in multi‑system environments and performing reconciliations.
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking and strong communication skills.
• Experience in fintech, telecom or high‑volume transaction environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, financial modelling).
• ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar.
• Data‑visualisation tools like Power BI or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
