Senior Cost Engineer – Construction Project Cost Control

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Cost Engineer to join our team in Lebanon. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the lifecycle, ensuring delivery within approved budgets while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost breakdown structures and control procedures.
• Track actual costs against budgets, identify variances and prepare weekly/monthly cost reports.
• Produce cash‑flow forecasts, EAC, ETC and CAC calculations.
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs.
• Review variation orders, claims and change orders for financial impact.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Commercial, Finance and Site teams to keep expenditures within limits.
• Provide cost dashboards, KPIs and recommendations to senior management.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company cost‑control policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of cost‑control experience in construction.
• Proven experience on commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
