Senior Compliance, Accounting & Reporting Coordinator

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Senior Compliance, Accounting & Reporting Coordinator to ensure that cash, commodity, food, livelihood and sponsorship programmes meet global standards, donor regulations and audit recommendations. You will work closely with project leads across the portfolio to build capacity, standardise processes and improve compliance through digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce control mechanisms for cash, commodity, food and livelihood projects.
• Lead Disaster Management Team reporting, donor reporting and the creation of SOPs and budget templates.
• Design and roll‑out digital systems that replace manual workflows and increase efficiency.
• Conduct field monitoring visits, spot‑checks and physical inventory verifications.
• Assess financial and programmatic risk levels and devise long‑term risk‑management strategies.
• Support the Area Program Manager with budget proposals and redesigns.
• Act as focal point for internal and external audits, preparing audit‑ready documentation and ensuring recommendations are closed within 90 days.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compliance, accounting or reporting within humanitarian or nonprofit settings.
• Strong understanding of donor regulations, global standards and audit processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project leads and technical specialists.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Experience designing and implementing digital compliance systems.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and management frameworks.
• Proficiency in developing SOPs, business cases and reporting templates.
