Senior Compliance, Accounting & Reporting Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Compliance, Accounting & Reporting Coordinator to ensure that cash, commodity, food, livelihood and sponsorship programmes meet World Vision global standards, donor regulations and audit recommendations. The role will support project leads across multiple countries, drive risk‑management strategies and lead the design of digital tools that improve compliance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Validate programme compliance with donor and World Vision standards, sector best practices and audit findings.
• Establish and monitor control mechanisms, SOPs and reporting templates across the portfolio.
• Lead Disaster Management Team reporting, donor reporting and the development of standardized SOPs.
• Design, specify and roll out digital systems to replace manual workflows, producing business cases and managing delivery.
• Conduct field monitoring visits, spot‑checks and physical inventory verifications.
• Assess financial and programmatic risk levels, develop long‑term mitigation strategies and embed risk management into processes.
• Support budget proposal preparation and redesign, ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Act as focal point for internal and external audits, preparing audit‑ready documentation and tracking recommendation closure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compliance, accounting or reporting within humanitarian or nonprofit programmes.
• Strong understanding of donor regulations, audit processes and risk‑management frameworks.
• Ability to work closely with project leads, build capacity and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of compliance control mechanisms and SOP development.
• Experience designing and implementing digital compliance tools.
• Familiarity with audit preparation, spot‑check procedures and risk assessment.
