Senior Civil Engineer (M/F)

About the role

Join SOCOTEC as a Senior Civil Engineer responsible for delivering high‑quality structural engineering services to our clients. You will ensure compliance with standards, codes and internal procedures while supporting the safety and sustainability of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review design documents, verify evidence, and ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes and regulations.
• Provide technical opinions on calculation notes and elements under review, and produce detailed document review reports.
• Maintain adherence to SOCOTEC group policies, health‑safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in building structures.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a design consultancy office.
• Registered with the Lebanese Order of Engineers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with international codes, especially ACI and IBC.
• Knowledge of the Saudi code SBC (a plus).
• Experience in document review, technical reporting and compliance verification.
