About the role
SOCOTEC is seeking a senior civil engineer to join its Lebanese agency. The role focuses on reviewing and verifying structural plans to ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Check and validate structural plans for reinforced concrete, metal structures, and related systems.
- Ensure technical documents meet applicable standards (ACI, SBC, Eurocodes) and detect any inconsistencies.
Required profile
- Civil Engineering degree with at least 5 years of experience in a design office.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Required skills
- Proficiency with calculation and drawing software such as AutoCAD, Robot, and ETABS.
- Knowledge of calculation and construction standards (ACI, SBC, Eurocodes).
