Senior BI Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior BI Developer who will design and deliver business intelligence solutions that empower data‑driven decision‑making. The role blends strong technical expertise with a curiosity for business problems, turning complex requirements into scalable data models, dashboards and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Build and maintain semantic models, dimensional data models and reporting layers.
• Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability and data quality.
• Work with data engineers on ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, source mappings and transformation logic.
• Integrate and analyse data from ERP, CRM, cloud applications, databases and data lakes.
• Lead requirements‑gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Present insights through data storytelling and visualisation.
• Maintain BI documentation, development standards, governance, security and access controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in BI development.
• Proven experience in customer‑facing or consulting environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
• SQL and data‑warehousing concepts.
• Dimensional modeling and semantic modeling.
• ETL/ELT processes and modern data pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric).
