Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join a leading construction company in Beirut. The role will oversee all accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting and support the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow and overall financial performance.
• Lead, mentor and manage the accounting team, fostering high performance and professional development.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to facilitate audits and financial reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or contracting sector.
• Proven ability to lead and manage an accounting team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
