Accountant

About the role

Moustasharoun Bureau, a consulting office specialized in accounting, taxation, internal audit and management services, is looking for an Accountant to ensure proper filing, tax compliance and support audit activities for its diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• File and archive tax documents and supporting evidence in accordance with regulations.
• Verify invoices, expenses and related documents for tax compliance.
• Prepare reconciliations for VAT, withholding tax and other tax accounts.
• Prepare and review VAT declarations and tax‑related reports.
• Review accounting entries related to VAT and taxation before submission.
• Coordinate with accounting teams to collect missing documents and data.
• Follow up on corrections, adjustments and tax‑related discrepancies.
• Monitor compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Assist in preparing documents required for audits and tax inspections.
• Communicate with clients regarding missing documents, declarations and tax requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an audit or accounting firm.
• Ability to complete tasks within deadlines and according to company standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate with internal departments to resolve operational and taxation issues.
