Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our accounting function within a manufacturing environment. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with Saudi Arabia GAAP and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare error‑free accounting reports, financial statements and budgets.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including audit coordination.
• Assist with tax audits, tax returns and statutory filings.
• Analyze financial information, identify errors and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Participate in financial standards setting and forecasting.
• Develop and document business processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial experience in a multinational setting, with at least 2 years in a similar senior role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and cost accounting.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia GAAP and MASQ internal policies.
• Proven ability to meet month‑end and year‑end deadlines.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP) proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• VAT and payroll processing knowledge.
• Cost accounting and general ledger management.
• GAAP compliance (Saudi Arabia).
