Sales Executive – Logistics & Transport

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive new business and nurture existing client relationships for Gezairi Group, a leading provider of transport, shipping and logistics services. You will work closely with the Sales Manager to identify opportunities, secure new accounts and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of department policies and achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to define new sales targets and opportunities.
• Follow up on bookings for both existing and prospective clients.
• Acquire at least five new clients each month.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Promote company services and prepare/modify client contracts as needed.
• Monitor shipments to guarantee professional service delivery.
• Escalate urgent client issues to the Sales Manager.
• Track market trends and report findings to senior leadership.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering visits, new client revenue, client loss reasons, market development and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business development experience, preferably in the express/courier or logistics sector.
• Proven ability to prospect, qualify leads and close deals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Track record of building long‑term customer relationships based on trust and reliability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Competence in basic office tools such as spreadsheets and presentation software.
