Retail Shop Manager

About the role

The Shop Manager leads daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, optimal sales performance, and adherence to brand standards. You will oversee inventory, staff scheduling, and the overall appearance of the shop to drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Detect and report on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Greet customers, address inquiries and complaints, and foster loyalty.
• Maintain up‑to‑date store licenses, employee documentation, and compliance with local regulations.
• Manage receiving, inventory counts, stock movements, and shrinkage control.
• Analyze sales data, monitor top‑selling items, and coordinate replenishment.
• Prepare staff schedules based on traffic, sales targets, and operational needs.
• Log commercial and operational information on internal platforms promptly.
• Control the annual budget, monitor expenditures, and report variances.
• Ensure store visual standards, cleanliness, and maintenance.
• Produce KPI reports on sales, inventory, and team productivity.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the team; conduct daily briefings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4‑6 years of retail experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
