Retail Merchandiser – Store Shelf Management

About the role

The Merchandiser ensures that retail shelves are stocked, displayed and priced according to planograms and promotional calendars. Working daily across a defined route in the Metn area, you will coordinate with warehouses, supervisors and sales teams to keep the store environment optimal for sales.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily materials and information based on the routing plan before heading to the market.
• Visit assigned stores, inspect shelves, record missing or low‑stock items, and scan shelf data.
• Access the warehouse or place orders with the shelf boy to replenish stock.
• Arrange, adjust and refill shelves using a FEFO (First Expired First Out) approach, following planograms and contract percentages.
• Complete daily and competition activity reports in the Merchandisers application and submit them for supervisor approval.
• Implement promotions on schedule, report any delays, and ensure promotional goods are invoiced and displayed with appropriate POS and price tags.
• Prepare in‑store tastings when assigned, coordinating with the promo team before the event.

Required profile

• Prior experience in merchandising or a related retail field is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Ability to work independently across multiple store locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Merchandisers application.
• Knowledge of planogram compliance and FEFO inventory management.
