Regional Business Development Focal Point – EMEA

About the role

The Regional Business Development Focal Point will lead CRS’s expansion and diversification of revenue across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Working remotely, the incumbent will coordinate with regional leaders and country teams to mobilize resources from institutional donors, foundations, the private sector and other funding sources.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align regional resource‑mobilization strategies with CRS’s global business development plan.
• Collaborate with country and regional staff to create donor engagement plans, capture strategies and proposal pipelines.
• Research funding trends, identify new business opportunities and advise leadership on innovative growth approaches.
• Maintain accurate regional pipeline and performance data in CRS’s online systems.
• Represent CRS at industry conferences and working groups.
• Support proposal coordination, budgeting, compliance and post‑award reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, fundraising or donor engagement within the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret funding trends and data.
• Excellent communication and networking skills to cultivate donor relationships.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, cross‑cultural environment.
