Radiotherapy Specialist – Full‑time, On‑site

About the role

LMCH Medical Center is seeking a full‑time Radiotherapy Specialist to join its oncology team in Beirut. The role focuses on planning and delivering radiotherapy treatments using advanced equipment and treatment planning systems, ensuring safe and patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, verify and deliver radiotherapy treatments according to established protocols.
• Accurately position patients and monitor treatment sessions.
• Document procedures, outcomes and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, medical physicists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and participate in quality‑assurance activities.
• Provide patient education throughout the treatment process.

Required profile

• Strong clinical radiotherapy expertise, including treatment planning and dose calculation.
• Excellent patient‑care and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail in documentation and strict adherence to safety and infection‑control protocols.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary oncology teams.
• Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills to address treatment‑plan issues.
• Relevant academic qualification in radiotherapy or radiation oncology technology with required licensure.
• Prior experience in an oncology or radiotherapy department, preferably in a technologically advanced cancer centre.
• Ability to work onsite in Beirut on a full‑time schedule and adapt to evolving clinical guidelines.
