Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our web, mobile, and API‑based solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid hands‑on experience in manual testing and API validation, and will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and functional requirements to create test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute manual functional, regression, integration, system and UAT testing for web, mobile and enterprise applications.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger, validating requests, responses, authentication and error handling.
• Log, track and verify defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning and release activities.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
• Support production validation and post‑release testing activities.

Required profile

• Strong experience in manual testing and API testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Ability to write clear test cases, test plans and execution reports.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
