Protection PSS Facilitator – GBV (2 positions) – Beirut

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking two Protection Psychosocial Support (PSS) Facilitators specialized in gender‑based violence (GBV) to work in Beirut. You will lead outreach and support activities for adolescent girls, ensuring protection‑sensitive programming and high‑quality data collection.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to identify and enroll adolescent girls in the Girl Shine program, respecting protection concerns.
• Collect and manage confidential data, producing daily activity and case‑update reports.
• Identify protection risks and trends, sharing findings with IRC staff for timely response.
• Collaborate with team members, partners, and referral networks to coordinate protection activities.
• Participate in capacity‑building trainings and coaching sessions provided by IRC.

Required profile

• Effective communication with children, youth, and adults in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
• Objective, sensitive information‑gathering skills and respect for beneficiaries’ cultures.
• Interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Experience facilitating psychosocial support, community engagement, or awareness sessions; experience with children and caregivers is an asset.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with tablet technology for data collection.
