Proposal and New Business Development Coordinator

About the role

The Proposal and New Business Development Coordinator supports Save the Children International Lebanon in securing funding by managing donor and member relationships, tracking the funding pipeline, and helping produce high‑quality proposals aligned with the organisation’s strategic priorities. The role works closely with the New Business Development Senior Manager and cross‑functional teams including Awards, Programme Operations, Programme Development & Quality, MEAL and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct donor landscape and pipeline analysis, gather market intelligence and identify priority funding opportunities.
• Track upcoming funding calls, donor engagement actions and proposal development stages, ensuring timely follow‑up with relevant teams.
• Support early capture planning for high‑value opportunities, coordinating donor intelligence, competitor analysis, partner mapping and evidence needs.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date funding tracker and analyse proposal success rates, pipeline health and funding gaps.
• Prepare donor, member and stakeholder briefings and accompany senior staff on visits, ensuring follow‑up actions are captured.
• Keep NBD tools, dashboards and records current and data‑ready.
• Coordinate with programme and finance teams to collect information for accurate donor intelligence and proposal positioning.
• Assist in the development of complex proposals, drawing on global, regional and national expertise.

Required profile

• Experience in donor liaison, new business development or grant coordination within the humanitarian or development sector.
• Ability to work flexibly, including during major emergencies and outside normal hours.
• Understanding of child safeguarding requirements (Level 3 contact).
• Strong analytical and coordination skills, with attention to detail.
