Project Manager – Agricultural Water‑Efficiency Pilot

About the role

Oxfam is seeking a Project Manager to lead the field‑level implementation of its agricultural water‑efficiency pilot in Lebanon’s Bekaa region. You will ensure that activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with the programme’s objectives while supporting broader WASH initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, budget, procure, monitor and report on the pilot project.
• Engage and coordinate with farmers, local communities, municipalities, ministries, water establishments and other stakeholders.
• Provide capacity‑building, technical support and cash assistance to farmers.
• Ensure gender, protection and accountability mainstreaming across all activities.
• Support the development of contract‑farming approaches and facilitate dialogue among agricultural market actors.

Required profile

• Demonstrated project management experience covering planning, budgeting, procurement, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
• Proven stakeholder‑engagement experience with local communities, public institutions and private‑sector actors.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanon’s agricultural context, especially the Bekaa, and experience working with farmers.
• Commitment to Oxfam’s mission and feminist principles of empowerment, accountability and inclusion.
