Programme Officer – Women, Peace and Security

About the role

The Programme Officer will join Kvinna till Kvinna’s Syria programme team in Beirut, reporting to the Country Director. The role supports the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) programme, working closely with civil‑society partners to deliver impactful projects in conflict‑affected settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end support to partner organisations, including applications, budgeting, planning, reporting and WPS guidance.
• Lead and monitor WPS programme implementation to ensure alignment with objectives, timelines, policies and agreements.
• Conduct regular monitoring visits or remote follow‑ups, identify challenges and coordinate solutions with senior staff.
• Facilitate partner capacity development through experience exchanges, networking and training.
• Prepare implementation reports and political analyses for donors, the Country Director and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with civil society, INGOs, UN agencies and donors on WPS matters.
• Support logistical arrangements for project activities.
