Physics Teacher

About the role

The school seeks a dedicated Physics Teacher to deliver the SABIS® curriculum, support student achievement, and contribute to a positive learning environment. You will work closely with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department to ensure high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Teach physics classes using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with AQC and HOD as needed.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain an effective classroom atmosphere.
• Proctor examinations and manage test environments.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules.
• Perform additional duties such as substitute teaching, organizing lunches and transport, and other administrative tasks.
• Participate in student life activities and coordinate with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning, accountability, and delivering results.
