Ocean & Air Import/Export Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Trans‑Pro Logistics Inc. is seeking an Ocean & Air Import/Export Specialist to join its international team. Working remotely from Lebanon, you will manage end‑to‑end ocean and air shipments, ensuring smooth coordination between clients, carriers, customs brokers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily import and export shipments (FCL, LCL, air freight) from booking to final delivery.
• Book cargo with carriers, steamship lines, airlines and overseas agents, and track shipments.
• Prepare, validate and manage shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices and Certificates of Origin.
• Support customs and trade compliance by liaising with customs brokers and ensuring adherence to regulations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and partners, providing timely updates and resolving issues.
• Review freight invoices, identify discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges, including delays and documentation problems.
• Collaborate with global internal teams and external partners to deliver high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in freight forwarding operations, preferably with both ocean and air import/export exposure.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, end‑to‑end import/export processes and Incoterms.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• FCL (Full Container Load) and LCL (Less than Container Load) handling.
• Air freight coordination.
• Preparation and validation of Bills of Lading and Air Waybills.
• Creation of Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices and Certificates of Origin.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and customs procedures.
