Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

About the role

Sucafina is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise‑scale data platforms that support analytics, AI, and business intelligence across the organization. The role focuses on data ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, and platform reliability using Microsoft Fabric technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Lakehouse architectures on OneLake and Delta Lake.
• Build and maintain batch, incremental, CDC, and near‑real‑time ingestion pipelines.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT solutions with Fabric Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, PySpark, and SQL.
• Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and reusable metadata‑driven frameworks.
• Integrate data from ERP systems, SAP, REST APIs, SQL Server, Dataverse, and other enterprise sources.
• Optimize Fabric Lakehouses and Data Warehouses for performance and cost.
• Maintain enterprise data models supporting analytical and operational workloads.
