Medior SSC GL Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Medior SSC GL Accountant to join our Finance Shared Services team, operating from our Zagreb or Lebanon office. Reporting to the EMEA Record‑to‑Report Manager, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end accounting for over 30 legal entities across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries promptly in line with accounting guidelines.
• Calculate and post accruals and interest on intercompany loans.
• Review and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts such as inventory, goods received not invoiced, and fixed assets.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Resolve issues with local finance teams and support monthly closings.
• Assist local finance teams with standard process knowledge.
• Execute vendor and customer balance reconciliations.
• Support intercompany recharging processes.
• Help prepare statutory accounts and assist in audits.
• Contribute to compliance group reporting and implement automation tools.

Required profile

• Experience in general ledger accounting and month‑end close activities.
• Proven ability to handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with statutory reporting and audit support.
• Strong analytical skills for root‑cause investigations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with finance teams across multiple countries.
